Both were very close friends for many years. In fact, the model wore a vintage stage costume as Bowie's alter ego, Ziggy Stardust to accept the Best Male Solo Artist award at the Brits in 2014.
She also did a cover of Vogue Paris, by Mert & Marcus, looking like Aladin Sane on the December/January 2012 edition.
